Anjali Janssens is a German-Indian visual artist based between Paris and Berlin. She studied photography at the Folkwang University of Arts and continues to work with the medium across both artistic and commercial contexts. Her style is defined by a poetic visual language, shaped by a refined use of light and a delicate view of people, places, and objects.
Through close collaboration, Janssens supports creatives in translating their ideas into striking visual concepts, as reflected in her work with renowned labels such as GIORGIO ARMANI and Christiane Strobel.
In her artistic series Nachleuchten, Janssens explores the family album as a site of personal and collective memory, re-examined through her Lens. Archival images enter into dialogue with contemporary photographs, forming a layered reinterpretation of the classical family album and reflecting on questions of origin, memory, and identity.
